I received free products for review purposes from Oriental Trading, a company that I adore and trust, especially for holidays like Halloween. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.
A few weeks ago my friends at Oriental Trading asked if they could send me some free goodies for Halloween, and being the excited blogger (and mom) that I am, I happily agreed as ideas started coming to my mind. I’d used Oriental Trading before when I was a teacher, but not since that time. What was I going to do with all these fun goodies about to hit my doorstep?! Immediately I thought of the sweet kids that my little ones enjoy playing with, and decided it’d be fun to assemble some easy and fun Halloween treat bags for all of our friends to enjoy this month. And, of course, my kids were excited to get in on some Halloween and fall crafting action as well as we dug through our box of goodies to see what we could make and share with our friends!
In my mind, I wanted easy-to-make crafts and projects for everyone, since no one is over the age of 6 in our group of friends. Oriental Trading had TONS of options to choose from with hardly any mess or frustration.
I chose lots of pre-sticky foam projects including Spider Web Shapes, Pumpkin Decorating Craft Kits, Craft Stick Jack O’Lantern Craft Kits and (our favorite) the Halloween Character Bookmark Kit.
I also made sure to grab some orange, medium sized craft bags to draw a simple Jack O’Lantern face on the front and stash all of the fun goodies inside! Here’s a peek at each bag’s contents:
Other fun goodies inside included a few Jack O’Lantern face stickers, smile face monster stickers, a glow stick (for trick or treating), a couple Halloween stampers, Fall Dot Marker Activity Sheets, Fall Coloring books, and a super cute Pumpkin Patch shaped sticker scene.
My little ones got a kick out of this activity one afternoon! They loved creating their own pictures with the stickers provided.
The beauty of these activities is that we were able to enjoy them ourselves and share them with our friends! We even have a few leftover for October playdates. I can’t wait to see the fun activities that will be available from Oriental Trading for the approaching holidays!
